If not for Douglas Healy's halfway house, Gecko, Terence, and Arjay would all still be in juvenile detention. Together they live in an apartment in New York City, going to school and trying to stay out of trouble. Then Healy is accidentally knocked unconscious one night while trying to break up a fight between the boys. When he wakes up in the hospital, he doesn't remember any of the boys, or even his own name. Now Gecko, Terence, and Arjay have to pretend that everything's fine so the halfway house can pass inspection. Otherwise, their second chance will be their last.
