Marcelo in the Real World

When Marcelo Sandoval's father challenges him to intern at his law firm over the summer, Marcelo is anxious. He has a condition similar to Asperger's syndrome and attends a school that caters to his needs. Reluctantly, he begins to work at the firm, where the complications of the "real world" confront him immediately. Marcelo's coworker, Jasmine, is kind and beautiful, but is frustratingly aloof. Wendell, the son of another partner in the firm, attempts to use Marcelo's naïveté to manipulate him.
