Buttermilk Hill

After a fight between Piper Berry’s parents, her father moves out of the family’s trailer home. Papa grumbles about his responsibilities, Mama brags about her freedom, and Piper is caught in the middle. While her parents sort out their new lives, Piper spends time with Lindy, her ten-year-old aunt and best friend, and Bucky, a boy from the poorer part of the county who has more serious family problems.
