Great News! JLG Now Offers You More Books When You Need Them Most

Studies show that more books are checked out in September and October than any other time. Publishers also release more books in the fall. That's why Junior Library Guild is now offering our 14 Book Plus Categories. With your Plus Category order, you’ll receive two books in September and October--when you need them the most--and one book per month thereafter. That’s 14 total books per year per each category.

Today is Multicultural Children’s Book Day

It's Multicultural Children's Book Day (MCCBD), and we are thrilled to help sponsor the efforts behind it. The mission of MCCBD is to not only raise awareness for the kid's books that celebrate diversity, but to get more of these of books into classrooms and libraries. Since JLG is all about getting the best books into the hands of readers and inspiring and enabling lifelong reading and learning, it's a perfect match. This year we are sponsoring the Classroom Reading Challenge. Teachers and students around the country will be involved in this initiative to include more diverse books into their classroom libraries and to encourage kids to broaden their worlds through these stories.
